you'd need mine though, right 😉

btw. a nice little vid that makes me want to go for the aeropress instead of the V60…looks so easy, fast and just plain awesome...also quite a bit funny!

        I love that video :).

It doesn't lie as to what's involved with an Aeropress. It's very simple and fast to get a decent cup out of. V60 is that next level cup with more factors involved. You can also make V60 for more than 1 person in a single crack without issue.

Why not get both in honest? Aeropress is about $35 and it's handy as feck. I have 2 of them, 1 @ work, 1 for travel. As well as a V60…

getting both is what most likely's going to happen…one at a time though!
want to first enjoy one of them to the max, before jumping to another system...so since I'm still loving on my own I think I'll start with aeropress...

Do it Finn, aeropress is amazing…  I have a pour-over rig that came with a burr grinder I just ordered, so I'll add that to the repertoire, but I really love the aeropress and it would be hard to displace/replace.  It makes a mean cup of java and is really efficient (easy clean-up, etc)....

            Think it, be it.

                      def. will do so, thanks!

btw. do you guys buy beans and then grind them on your own, or is it also common, that one buys already grinded coffe?
you may have more types of beans to chose from, when buying them as a whole, right?!

I never buy beans ground.  Whole beans and a burr grinder right before the roast for me.

                            I'd go this route: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002ZD3QJC/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It comes with a nylon bag and two filter packs.

hmmm should be the exact same thing though (except for the number of filters and the plastic bag)…?!

Yeah and maybe cheaper?  Don't know the exchange rate.  Identical product for sure.

yeah, should be cheaper like 7 or 8 dollars i think. not a member of amazon though and the one from ebay ships from germany for free as well…so gonna order that one.

now, what grinder to buy? manuel or electronic?

eyeing this one (not sure if good, but it looks good and cost less) 🙂

Is my grinder, I hand grind my beans daily :). A great way to start the day, takes up less space, I love the form of it as much as the function too. Portability was/is a factor. If I do travel I want to be able to take a grinder with me, even if on the road…Thermo filled with boiling water + hand grinder + aero press = perfect cup, anywhere in the world.
