You still shaking the beige? Or doing the same on a hot wash? I was thinking a good hot soak it would lose a bit too. But I haven't tried it yet.

This jacket is awesome..
Returned the duck yesterday unfortunately.. Felt a bit too risky to keep both. That was before the wabby wash though. Still, I wasn't sure the duck was going to respond same way and it could have been very expensive to find out. I decided to hold out for that Award jacket in beige duck instead -

Duck being a completely different weave then denim, you probably made the safe choice in terms of risk. That thing couldn't fit better now, and hopefully you have the beginnings of some evo as well now.
Did you wash inside-out?

So, to chime in with Zats, I bought the beige and brown as well (yes I love chore coats!!). Sad news is they really are sized larger than the 531 (as myself and Zats have both found out). So i got my tape out and made comparison with the 531, and the 532 has an extra .5" to 1.5" on all measurements posted on the IH site for the same size XXL in the 531. Both beige and Brown measure the same.
To be honest if it shrank like raw denim it would be sweet, but I don't think this is the case with duck.
I fucking love both bigtime but I'm going to have to hassle the big G for a size exchange. As I want them still but in proper size.
I'm posting pics, but I found it hard to express the oversize doing a selfie (Zats I don't know how you pulled it off. Plus can't say Ive ever been into selfies). You can see in the sleeves but perhaps harder to see in the shoulders and chest. Length is also 1.5" larger.

The Wabash one looks badass, SS, but I agree whole heartedly with the misfit on the duck.

Yeah JSJ, she's Definately larger sized. Bummer! I still want my right size though. Fucking love barnies! And these are still mad IH produced perfection. Just not the same sizing as the wabby.

Yeah, I'd size down to XL. If that's still too big, I'd give it your hot wash. I'm still sursprised how much the wabby shrank, I'd say the duck should still shrink some if needed. Judging from your wabby pics, I’m sure you'll get a killer fit.

You could just wear a flanny and thermal top under it even a v neck sweater with a nice shirt. But I know what you mean. Maybe we'll get lucky and H will release a lined version. Check out the extinct section on the IH site. You'll see what I mean there with pieces he has already made.
I honestly don't think the duck will shrink like the wabby. Need someone else with duck experience to chime in on duck shrinkage. But I'm definitely going to size down to XL. Fingers crossed stock is available.
