I think if the beige was a medium it would look mad. The Wabby is a given for a killer choice though.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the helpful feedback. Sadly I have to agree…I'm returning the duck. Not happy to let it go, such a killer fabric.. I'm keeping the wabash though 🙂 but not sizing down. The chest was too tight on the M. Besides I'm not 100% sure but I think a classic chore jacket should feel like you're "swimming" a bit in it, at least visibly roomier than a normal jacket? The arms look especially wide as if designed to be worn over other jackets. I like it 🙂

Would really recommended that duck to anyone on the borderline. It made me willing to suddenly invest in 2 chore jackets at the same time!

That was my problem also, the medium measurements were too tight for my chest, and the large I felt would have been too big for my liking. You will def get some shrinkage with the wabash though.

Maybe I'll do just that by end of season to give it some wear. My 1st wabby, should be interesting 🙂 Thanks again or the great idea mclaincausey and ohighyo

Yeah mate, fully agree there. The canvas will loose a bit. I also lost a tad on my Wabby doing exactly that. I'm pretty much between sizes in these bad boys.

I believe your also right on the chore coat theory. They are worn a tad bigger. So you can work in them. Get your swerve on ;). But not swimming.

Also, after I did the wash it didn't seem to effect it's new look at all. Not majorly noticeable anyway.  If you decide your keeping it, you could do the wash first to tighten her up IMO.
