Hey fellas. I'm tempted to buy a pair of worn 666S but can't figure out if they'll stretch to fit me. They are tag sized 33 from the second run and have been soaked at 40°. They now have a waist of just under 34 inches (86cm). I take a w34 in the 634S and it's perfect (has stretched out to 35 inches - 90cm). Will the 18oz stretch out another inch?
      All help greatly appreciated:)

Rafa, the thighs are 12.2, that's about all I can do, but your right, the knee to hem could lose a little more. I like a straight cut, but without the extra fabric.  I think the '66 style cut is what I've been looking for the whole time.  As for shirts, I'm not wearing an undershirt with my 44, that's why it seems a little big.

Snowy, that's my girls dog Andy, he's named after Andrew WK. no idea why.

maybe he likes to party hard?!

fit looks great and an 0.5" hem should take care of the rest. need to worry though 😉
and about the XXL thingy…remember like a year or so ago, that 56 you had was a XXL, if not XXXL right?
looks like you finally found your sizes...which is great! keep at it!

@bertoni - do you need them to stretch to a 35 or are you good at 34? And, the 18oz Devils can stretch a decent amount in the waist - it's the thighs you need to worry about.

Zwer: I need them to stretch to a 35 inch waist. Am holding off from eating all the pies but the odd biscuit still makes it's way through…35 inch waist needed. Would I be better getting a w34 pair?

Looking at the size chart, you should be okay with a 33. While the waist shrinks with the initial soak, it typically stretches back to the pre-soak size with wear.

Are you sure you're okay with the thigh measurements, though? Thighs are not nearly as forgiving as the waist.

@bertoni I am with zwer take care of your thighs. As the denim is unsanforised and i understand the jeans is soaked so far, there will probably be some lil shrinkage left in a later machine wash. In total you can count approx 3% shrinkage horizontally and vertically with agitation in the machine imho. Thigh stretching in the 18 oz is pretty hard imo. Like zwer explained waist is usually no prob. Good luck 🙂

                        Cheers,
                        David

Were they different? I didn't notice anything major, that being said. Copped in 30 after realising the thigh was perfect, can't wait 😃

Thanks for your help Davito:) Still umming and arring about my next pair….Raw Busters or 666S....hmmmm...It is complicated by the fact that I can never go TTS (me being a 35 waist an all). Nature sucks.

These landed to me already from the magic wheels of UPS. Gave them a hot machine wash but couldn't wait for them to dry to try them on. I can tell this is going to be possibly one of my favorite fits ever. This is the ultimate cut for gangly nancies like meself.

Yes yes crappy fit pic for now, will update with "dry" ones soon.

Many thanks to Paula and Giles!

if i wear a 36 waist in the 461s and they are pretty lose ( like i can fit a whole flat hand between the pants and my belly ) could i get away with doing a super hot boiling water soak on these in a size 34?

?? not sure why you would want to.. sounds like two sizes down should be perfect, but maybe im missing something. Also have found that throwing them in a hot wash (no soap, no spin cycle) provides enough agitation to get the shrinkage out of any jean. SO not sure if the boiling soak is ever a necessity, and personally would worry about cooking the patch…but again I could be wrong
