Makes sense zwer… Although I have wondered, and other have suggested the possibility, if I might be celiac, as sick as I feel post consumption and following few days... But not big on visiting the docs

I never said gluten, I said wheat. Gluten is a red herring, it's just one of many harmful proteins in wheat, which is especially harmful for those allergic to it. Shit's toxic, not just because it can create obesity, but because of what it does to your cardiovascular system, and also visceral fat (fatty liver syndrome, etc). Bad juju…

Here's my experience:
I used to weigh 295lbs. Now I'm about 215lbs. How did I do it? Ate a lot less of everything, but never cut out any specific foods. Regardless of what people tell you, weight loss is simple science: burn more calories than you consume. You could eat pop tarts and McDonald's all day and you'll still lose weight if you burn more calories than you consume.
Fair, and true. But wheat actually creates hunger. It actually creates more blood sugar than sugar does. So, with your blood sugar going nuts all over the place your body doesn't know what to do and tells you your hungry. The key to sustained satiety is having as stable blood sugar levels as possible, and wheat makes that impossible.

He's good, really, really good. IMO once you understand what's going on with the wheat it becomes less desirable to put it in your body. But then again not everyone cares if what they eat is GMO or not, I do. Are GMO's completely avoidable, unfortunately not. However, by educating yourself you can make decisions to limit the amount of exposure whenever possible. Really just depends on what YOUR personal goals are, if it's just to drop a few pounds, sure eat at dirty Ron's and do something to burn twice as many calories. If your into improving and extending your quality of life, maybe take it a step or two further.

The forthcoming book you cited by the neurologist looks very interesting as well; I want to be as smart, alert, energetic, and happy as I possibly can, I don't have that many brain cells to spare. I look forward to reading the impact of wheat and other carbs on the mind.

Sooo do you agree that Made in Mexican Coke in the glass bottles tastes better than Made in USA Coke in cans?
(Didn't want to go too far off topic in Mega's thread, so it's here…..).
Supposedly for "The real global Coke otakus say Jamaican: quality of cane used, plus…the water." is the best in the world. (Source: William Gibson)

I don't drink soda anymore, but I would agree that Mexican coke is better. It seems just like hype but to me it tastes sweeter and kind of "warmer" instead of vague chemicals….
