Ok ladies and gents…here they are:
Lone Wolf Engineer Boots
outsole non stitched?
glued?
is there a really notable difference on one long period between (outsole)boots well glued and stitched?
i would like to know.
Ed? Blackheart? VEB? others?Rafa, very nice engineers!
good luck for to break the triple leather ;)) -
Very nice Rafa, personally I'm not a fan of engineer boots but I certainly appreciate a quality item when I see one

Naw bra, it's like some other language or something.
-
ok, so let's start
tatman, bluegrass, big Z, - thanks a lot guys…pretty stoked on my first pair tbh.
FH - still at work buddy. need to do some grocery shopping then i'll try to snap some pics when i'm back at home...can't wait
mclain - thanks a ton sir. tatmantall and you are the guys that got me into all this trouble tbh.
madmonday - these are my first pair of engineers and i'm totally blown away i have to say.
Ed - haven't had the chance to check it out so far. gonna do that in the evening though. atm. i think it wears pretty well and it molds to the shape of your feet pretty well as well...so atm. it's all good!
snowman - FINNMODE? ...well let's wait and see, cuz only time can tell. i'd call it more like "finally i'm able to jump on the things i like, without hesitating and thinking about money too much!"...so let's wait what mode i might be in from now on
hajduk - yap, the outsole is glued on from what i can tell. looks bulletproof though on first inspection. everything's still in place, so no need to worry atm...i can fully enjoy them for the moment
IF the rubber outsoles are glued properly, ie the cobbler knows his job, there is no need to stitch.
thanks for the info buddy. your knowledge on engineer boots is enough to make me sleep good at night…
Very nice Rafa, personally I'm not a fan of engineer boots but I certainly appreciate a quality item when I see one
tbh. i really thought the same at first. hell, even when i had them coming in the mail. i thought i should just give them a try, cuz all in all they are a badass pair of boots, 2nd hand, the price was way too good and after all it was my size…so wth not! i can/could always resell them if i shouldn't dig the fit/look or whatever...
need to wear them for a few days/weeks/months now to really know what's going on, but atm. i'm in loveGreat pick up Finn! How's the fit? I want to see fit pics!
well tbh. the right boot was a tad narrow at first and it took some seconds to really get into it (wearing tennis socks!). besides that it almost felt like it was a half or even whole size smaller (must have a weirdass foot shape!)…the left boot was dope from the getgo. no problems at all and with a bit of space in the heel area and all in all a good feeling.
after a few minutes of wear, the right boot already stretched a fair amount and both felt like a good fit.
so i think they def. need some more days/weeks to really mold to the shape of my feet but atm. all is good!thanks a ton for all the feedback guys...now what engineers to cop next?
-
Rafa…Stay with those for a while just to decide if you're an engineer man (pun intended
)
After you have settled with those say 4 weeks 24/7 use and you still like engineer boots, we'll discuss about next purchase, right?
I eyeballed Lone wolfs loooong but decided otherwise. Just a personal preference dictated by the way I use mine...
