Love him. I'll go with the masses on that one
The less of his work I'd seen the more I liked him. 'The American Story' paints a very interesting picture. Made me almost feel sorry for the guy. His bit on 'remembering life as a ride' is something I reiterate to myself regularly. I still quote him even on here as the prophet don't get me wrong, but it's not his execution it's the ideas.

I like the beach, but hate the beach "culture" that often comes with it,
Nailed it.
I spent a little time in Sydney and enjoyed Bronte beach.

While I will concede that Texas beaches suck beyond words, I hated going to NC beaches, too.
And if you say anything positive about Myrtle Beach, your child is going to grow up wondering what happened to daddy.
Nah, can't stand Myrtle Beach, at least after I got past the point that it was legal to drink haha

No argument on Myrtle Beach from me. There are some NC beaches that are nice though, Topsail is one that comes to mind. Shackleford Banks is nice too (gotta have a boat though).

Ooh Riffblaster! Now there's an unpopular opinion I can get with. Totally agree. Hicks has been deified (like all live fast die youngs), and he was on the money but is in no way as prophetic as some make him out to be.
Staying on the subject of unpopular opinions I propose that Foo Fighters are, more or less, one of the most boring, unoriginal and completely over rated bands I've ever heard. In short they're a pile of shite. Cannot understand the esteem in which they are held. That is all.
For now….

I like the new Miley Cyrus songs…especially the one with Snoop Lion. There, I said it. It feels good to get that off my chest.

Few times to the unpopular opinions phase me…. But shit I love JB

Every rock n roll album made after Appetite For Destruction has been sub standard.

I once heard them described as the creative equivalent of The Silver Bullet Band, minus Bob Seger.
Their first album had a few solid, if Nirvana-lite, songs. Since then it's been one long, steady suck.

Seriously? Even Nevermind? That is a strong statement.

Oh god, yes. Blood Sugar Sex Magik was the last album they did that I could listen to at all.
