I will construct a Benedict Arnold outfit and ride in an open topped parade down 5th Avenue

Whoops, I didn't notice you had posted, sorry Chris. Fortunately you didn't say anything of merit
Do I ever?

A noble sentiment mclain, but the trashing on here has generally not been about health. It's been stuff like NYC pizza vs Pizza Hut pizza, or Shake Shack vs other (less expensive) fast food chains. that's pure snobbery, nothing to do with health.
Someone posted earlier "who the F eats at subway?" I can tell you who eats in them here: FDNY; cops; construction workers; people who work in stores in the area. People for whom $5-6 for lunch is the budget. But yeah, let's trash them for not being able to eat as well as those of us who can afford $400 jeans. F–ing joke.
i feel that I can add to this whole subway discussion.

Project Mayhem is underway.

however as far as fast food chains go…..i like subway. especially when on the road in the middle of nowhere at 2 am. a 24 hour truckstop subway is like a shining beacon of hope. plus it's pretty much the only fast food joint where you can get spinach and other vegetables.

Subway is my go to traveling option. No other fast good place is healthier than Subway. Try to prove me wrong.

I think bread kills you, so I'd disagree.
Edit: forgot I think they may do "naked" sandwiches like Jimmy John's.
The worst in terms of health has got to be Quizno's.

I'd give that to long John silvers

There's another piece that was in the Times called is sugar toxic? Highly recommended.

Football, or soccer to Americans, is dumb for the following reasons:
Part of the game… The players don't complain... Although the new ball at a EC or WC is always food for discussion... The need for the players to adapt to any situation is part of the charm of the game... I guess "it's a €uro thang"...

Wrestling is brilliant though, soap opera for blokes

I used to be a F1 snob, but after a few years of trying to get into NASCAR, I like it a lot now.
The cars are all relatively equal, so it's a proper test of driver skill, and easier to measure one driver against the next. Also, while there is a lot of 'go fast, turn left', if you watch the races at the superspeedways (e.g., Daytona, Talladega), you can see just how much the cars actually move. And racing in a pack at 200mph takes balls of steel.
I still can't get into the short tracks and can't stand seeing the cars on road courses, but before you completely write off NASCAR, try watching the Daytona 500 next February.
And, it's perfect for a nap. Watch the beginning, fall asleep, wake up in time for the last 50 laps.

I like rally car and Baja racing and wish those were on TV more…
