Suro you may be in the same boat as me.  I just got these 33's and while the waist is good, Im feeling like the top block is too baggy.  Notice the butt looks like I have a tail under it.  Will a 32 offer me a slimmer upper block while stretching to a 33 waist, and eliminate the look of a tail??????  Or am i better off in another cut?

Suro,  if you get rid of those 32's let me know.

It's partly due to the denim.  Let it shape and it will hang much better….

Ok, some fit pic:

It fits just right on the waist right now, (my actual waist is 32", mu APC new standards is a tagged 28) should i down size to maybe a 29, considering these will expand more with wear?

No, you should not size down, they look fine, great choice!  You can always wear a belt to prevent stretching.  But, you should size down your picture (crop) or put a shirt on because, pardon the pun, that shit is hydeous.

The fit is excellent- the 634 isn't supposed to be a slim style.  If you want that, look into the 666 or 555.  That's how a classic straight jean should fit.

And pictures are always good, even grainy iPhone ones.  Keep posting.

Lol, glad I got it right, because there isn't a size 29 currently

My true waist is 32", and i got a tagged size 30 for the 634s. I wear size 28 APC new standards, if thats any help. Good luck in finding a pair
