You can take the hardware off the large and cut it if it's too big.

I wear 31-32 jeans and use the second smallest hole in the Large.

Ok, the vintage Merc route turned out to be a non-starter (literally and figuratively).

I have a buyer for my rather dull diesel commuter, and I am now looking for a replacement car that is interesting, non-mainstream, not insanely uneconomical and low profile (i.e.: no crazy Skylines or bling).

Any petrolheads on here want to throw me some suggestions?

Bought this in size 42 a year ago - sold it after the winter as it fitted too big without layers. Bought again in size 40 from SuFu, arrived today, thinking it's too small… Opinions?.. Biggest problem is I bought the shortsleeved version of this from a Japanese shop in the same size, arriving next week... Maybe I'll just keep the s/s and sell this... On shorts it's not thàt bad...

Double cuff. We work hard, we cuff hard. I'll take a new pic w/ sleeves rolled down after I've ironed it… I was more worried about the length though, since I'll always wear it cuffed...

I have a friend to wants to purchase a legit, relaxed, minimally tapered, non-boot, repro cut.  He's into the RAB scene, specifically a self-described greaser.  I told him about Iron Heart, but he wants something even more relaxed, except the heavweight denim is something he doesn't want to sacrifice, if he doesn't have to.  I know what you're thinking, "Have you ever seen a JD/MB flick? Dudes pants were skin tight?"  He understands, but wants a VERY roomy fit AND have the denim weigh north of approx. 14.5 oz.

With this information, what are his options??  My knowledge has limits, Sufu/SF/MyNudies/Honest can be unreliable, so I ask the cream of the crop at the IH forum: what's the list of grail, roomy, straight-er, selvage repro cuts?

Consider price no object, for now.
