I have an SMF and an SnG, Striders aren't exactly around the house knives but it depends on the person.

So I put the knife into a Granny (the apple variety, not the elderly kind), then treated it with cider vinaigre… Overdid it, of course, and there are some rust marks here and there... Oiled it at work (spray) and it works like a charm... Also getting used to the opening... The knife really fits a lot better than the Delica as it's slightly smaller...

Not sure how to clean the rust but, if it t's carbon steel patina it immediately so it doesn't get brown rust patina=rust

1. Clean blade with soap and water
2. Dry off blade.
3. Pour hot sauce on blade
4. Let sauce sit on blade for 2-5 hours
5. Clean off blade with soap and water
