I remember Geo(rge) loving sour beers… I'm sure, in time, I will like 'm as well... But for now, I'll take me (fruit) beers like a big girl's blouse...  😉

Nothing wrong with a good fruit beer.  There's room in my fridge for everything. 😉

Ok so it's made by Liefmans… And yeah it's sweetened with sugar... Sure... But by golly is it GOOD… 6°... Beautiful colour... Very well balanced (sweet/ sour)... Cheap (under 5 €)... Exp date of 2022, so picking up a good amount of these asap...  🙂

Seul, that mug is very THE LAST CRUSADE-ish.

This years batch measures in at a whopping 18-19%.  For such a high ABV, it's a shockingly well balanced.  A little sweet for my tastes and not too hoppy, but overall delicious.  May have to pick up another bottle…

                                  It has actually been 16 days…  😎

So stoked on all these... And FINALLY scored a Bush Pêche-Mel glass... 3 €!.. No idea what I'm gonna do with the Vedett glasses: pour gin-tonics out of it or keep flowers in 'm... So heavy... So ugly... So retro... So good...

The red pepper in my fridge is strategically kept there so I can say "No it's NOT only booze in this fridge!.."

Really wish I had the capital to open a craft beer shop/drop-in bar in London to rival Utobeer.

I love those Vedett glasses.  Is that a polar bear on the logo?  Sweet.

Yeah - it has a polar bear on the blade label!.. Really in love with these glasses!.. But now time for some serious business…

Liefmans... Where to start... Now owned by Moortgat (Duvel)... Their Cuvee brut Kriek nearly swept me off my feet... So it's time for this one, the Goudenband... This is just beautiful beer... Both in the way it is presented (I'm a sucker for a nice wrapping paper), and more importantly in taste... Sour, complex, dark; and a nice 8°... I'm thoroughly enjoying this!.. Oh: and it costs 2.15 €... Time to get some more and age them... Exp date is 2022...
