I'm new to IH and ordered this shirt in a L as my first piece of IH. I've grossly underestimated the sizing. I mostly wear button ups and wear a M to L in almost all I've ever worn. This by far is the smallest L I've ever seen. I can't even get it around me to button. Just a heads up to any new guys getting into IH. I'm going to need a XXL. On a positive note, this is a very well made shirt. Everything about it screams quality. The details along with the fabric used are just amazing. Looking forward to getting one that fits.

Welcome Mike, in the future the best way to determine your sizing is to measure an item that currently fits you well and compare to the measurements on each product page. I wear one size larger in IH than I normally wear in any other brand, so not uncommon. Enjoy!

Sorry about that but we do put the measurements of every item on the site.  There is no such thing as a global L.  People from different races differ in size.  I am an L in Japanese, but an American L will swamp me…..

Are these pimpable? There's no link in the product page to suggest they are, but the pic above makes me believe that they are pimpable … Not happy with my #78 fit, so I'm getting interested in these

By the looks of it, I think they are pimpable.  Never thought of pimping it, could be a first!

So I know that the 07 is old news around these parts, but as I was contemplating my first IH shirt purchase, and being overwhelmed with all the amazing shirts, I wanted to start with an IH staple, something that has been around for awhile but is still great.  I went with this. Frickin' love it. Pictures do not do it justice. 
Wasn't planning on posting pics, but I was taking shots for my HWDC update and got a couple good ones of the shirt.  Figured I'd put 'em up.



This material is something else, and that red stitching on the pockets

Great shirt…. that red bar tacking is a detail taken from classic workwear.  Kudos to Haraki-san on that one.

^ ya, I figured it had to be there for some reason! He doesn't seem like a person who does things just for the sake of doing them. It's such a classy detail  :-*….oh! and the orange stitching on the inside.....I could go on but will restrain myself
