Built a little parcours for a kid in my Kindergarten:
Some bridges and footsteps over the swamp

          Some stones in the swamp

          More swampy stuff

          What´s that? Maybe a treasure???

My teacher liked the the lesson 🙂

Dude! I love that place. I like seriously love it. There was the sweetest, most well dressed lady that worked there named Marcelle, she had to be in her 80s. I could tell her some hat look I had in my head, and she'd rummage around in the back, then come out with exactly what I wanted. Buying a hat there was such a memorable experience.

Agreed.  Family-run, great service…. they absolutely refuse to let you walk out of there with a hat that doesn't fit.  It was funny hearing one of the family/sales staff interact with my friend with his thick New Orleans accent and brutal directness about fit and style.  He wound up getting him the perfect hat.  I was basically just trying things on while enjoying that, not even really looking, and found one that fit perfectly.  The cherry on top of this was after the purchase when Mr. Meyer complimented the hat and told me he designed it for Stetson.  This piqued my curiosity and I found this article, which sums up the experience of buying there quite well:

                                      http://www.completesoutherngentleman.com/stetson-gulfport-hat-by-meyer-the-hatter-new-orleans/

Very happy with the experience as well, and the Meyer label on the inside of the brim I wear with honor!
