im looking for a new knitted sweater (cotton, linen or cotton/linen) and would love some brand recommendations! apart from the japanese clothing, i usually wear scandinavian stuff and would like to go outside my comfort zone. so, who makes great knitted sweaters?

davito, thanks man, but maybe i shouldve specified further. to me a "knitted sweater" is perhaps whats more generally known as a pullover, jumper or w/e its called haha. all these different types of tops..

love my buzz rickson x self edge sweater! bought in nyc 3-4 years ago and is by far my most favourite sweater 🙂

Hey guys, noob question for sure…

How long does it usually take for denim, particularly the 18oz, to settle and have the creases form?

about to weeks for me wowowee, but mega has a valid point.  oh & it also depends on the cut of the denim as the closer fits tend to set sooner than later

Thinking about getting a dog, two questions.

Are pets important to the development of a child?

Which breeds of dogs are good with kids?

I always grew up with dogs, so I love them. When me and Pam first for our house we had a Siberian Husky, that did not end well.

Can't answer the first one definitively, but I can attest that Rottweilers are great with kids if you do your research on how they were bred. Mine was bred for temperament, not size. I have yet to see him act aggressively except for the shady neighbors he barked at one time. I gave him a treat for that because they set off my spider sense as well

I've owned all sorts of breeds, but my favorite has been the Pyrenees. They are loving, gentle, and have incredible instincts. They take protecting the house/property very seriously. Mine has chased bears and large cats off the property:

(That's not mine, BTW). Mine is staying at my Mom's in Washington. She has a lot of property, which is essential for the breed.

I think dogs probably are good for kids, but they're a lot of extra responsibility for the whole family.  I'm trying to hold Julie off on getting one because I just don't want to deal with caring for another living thing.

Absolutely.  Couldn't agree more.  That's why mine is up in WA.

The holy dogs need a strong leadership as all dogs. Although they are beautiful i would probably not begin with this breed. Get a mini Bull Terrier those should be cool with Kids and Family 🙂
