The XHS will certainly spoil ya.  Regardless of the HWDC, I don't really want to wear anything else, they're just so awesome.

That being said, the fit on these does look good on you seul…

I agree with Seul. The taper is non-existent, if you chop a few inches off the 38.5" inseam. They look more like 634Ls than 666Ls.

These seem almost close to a slim-straight cut, slightly more than the 666S which were already somewhat near slim-straight (as opposed to say the 555 cut which I think is a true slim cut).  Does that sound right?  If so these could  be perfect for my next pair…

Basically are these are more of a straight cut below the knee.  Sounds like yes, unless going with a very long inseam.

Btw Anesthetist, I think they look great on you.

Thanks BK, and it seems that the taper isn't really all noticeable even with a 34 inch inseam (pre 35"). However, the fabric is the superstar here and is really great. Here are a few pics:
