Just curious to know if the waistband on this one is the same as the IHSW-02?  My IHSW-02 waistband has lost most of its elasticity so is not as effective a layering piece as it used to be.

I believe they are different, but do not have an 02 or 03 here to compare

Any feedback on this fit?  I'm a bit worried about how much it will shrink as this is about as small as I would ever want it to be.  And unfortunately this is an XL so sizing up isn't an option.  Would love to hear people's experiences with how much it shrinks and where.

fd, I think that fit looks perfect.  I can't speak from personal experience, yet; so I will leave that to others.  I have read this thread, as well as the IHSW-05 (same build; slightly different cut), front and back, a couple times, and nobody has complained about any shrinkage.  This is the best quote I could find:

Just ordered the "M" to come over to New Zealand. Looking forward to adding this to the smokey flannel, tshirt, IHxB01 jeans and triple works TWSH-03 slubby. The flannels are both Medium so hoping hoodie all good too. Length is only concern. Loving the ironheart quality.

I have a small…no room for any shrinkage. When I wash
it, I pull the sleeves and hand to dry. Might dry it someday.

My Hoodie has arrived. First thoughts: sleeve is tight but makes for a cosy feel made for warmth. the fleece is dense and heavy. Loving it. Not quite cold enough for it here as a daily wear at this stage. I am a happy return customer.

cool just it is a large and that is the same size as giles wears and going by my medium ihsh-65 being a bit big i was just wondering.
