I'm Also needing my MBB tapered and hemmed. Does anyone have recommendations for a tailor here in the states ?

Self Edge, if you can drop them off in person in LA, NYC or SF (or find a proxy to do it for you).  Blue In Green will take mail in work, as will Blue Owl Workshop.  I've used both BiG and BOW and can vouch for their quality.  Self Edge is completely trustworthy and awesome as well.

Nope, I know that some of you like to mess with the cut, but we spend a lot of time working out (what we think are) perfect proportions, we like them the way they are…...

Yes, Finn. I m also talking about 1 inch taper, from 9" to 8" for me. Will ur MBB  start taper from knee only or higher?

mine are getting tapered from knee down only, on the outseam (so the selvage seam is getting wider!)…i could have them taken in on the inseam but then the tailor would need to open the whole inseam and after that, the rise, thigh, knee and everything else would change as well! so just outseam taper for me...no need for the rise or thigh to change on my pair!

It's mainly dust (cement/plaster/limestone), might be some abrasion, not to sure at the moment.
I'll probably just give them a good brush, see what they're like after, could well be in the tub by the end of the week though.

I for one love IH cuts… Tried several other brands and they never fit like my IH
