2 hours? That's well within day trip range. Priceless to get a good fit on a pair of jeans that you'll have for life…..And you get to see sunny Gosport.

This is true but the price of fuel these days..would seem more economic to pay for the delivery!

And if you get the wrong size/cut you'll likely blow more than the fuel cost in postage fees :). Do what works for you. I've travelled 4+ hours for lunch on a weekend, I've also travelled over 2 hours to visit IronHeart HQ in Japan…..

As someone sitting in Australia who has ZERO IH stockist in the country, it pains me to read that you're 2 hours away and are turning it down due to the price of fuel. Again, rationalise it how it works for you, but for the best experience, I suggest visiting Gosport HQ 🙂

I am a little unsure about the heavyweight ones as I saw some pics posted of what would seem premature wear on the groin area?

          • the 21 oz denim is soft and a pleasure to deal with
          • the 25 oz denim is a true stubborn bastard; if you're new to The Game I'd stick to the 21
          • crotch blow càn occur (depends on a lot of things), but this is one of the easiest jobs in the world to fix

I can't even imagine what would happen to my bank account if I lived only two hours from Gosport.  I have a hard enough time with a Self Edge in town (believe me, I'm not complaining; love SE). T.F.S. GO!  Don't even think about it.  You are guaranteed to get a perfect fit on a pair of jeans that will look great for years.  I know gas (petrol, or whatever) is expensive in the UK, but it's absolutely worth it to see every cut, touch every denim; you don't yet understand how lucky you are.  Stick around a while and you'll get it.

                          Hi,

I don't know if this has been posted previously as there doesn't seem to be a search function on this forum to verify.

I was looking through the shirts and the sizing charts in the online shop and have noticed a measurement that is glaringly missing - the collar/neck size.

I know this measurement is less important than say a dress shirt as most people would not button all the way to the top button as these are casual shirts, but I do think it would be useful to know this measurement among the different sizes & styles of shirts on offer.

                          Thanks

I think the fact that the collar measurements are only being brought up now demonstrates how few the "some" are. I'm sure time could be better spent elsewhere.

Or maybe the some don't buy because of the lack of measurement? It takes about 5 seconds to measure a collar.

Do people actually button the top button on an IH shirt? Why would you?

All that matters is if the shirt fits your shoulders, chest, belly, and it's long enough.

Honestly guys, I think the point here is not what you would do, or what I would do, it is what other people "might" do. The fact that someone cares enough to bring it up shows that someone cares, and the amount of time it takes to do it, surely means that it should at least be considered?
