Yep. Contest. I ´ve ordered a pair of beatles volume one. The denim and cut sounds so much promising…

          why so serious?

Just one more time: disregard Nerkg's comments and soak your 25 oz jeans at least after a couple of weeks of wear… Especially if you cuff your jeans or if you're prone to crotch blowouts...

No disrespect Kev, but they won't last two years without a soak...  😉

I'm curious if you recommend this even after an initial soak. These jeans are quite stiff and don't stack at my ankles well. They just kind of make everything below my knee look all bunchy so I'll be cuffing them to avoid that. I'd hate to have them tear at the fold.

It's a good idea to soak periodically, especially when the jeans are new and are stiffer and still have a lot of starch

To each his own. My buddy had a par 4 years never touched water. Not a blowout to speak of. The denim wasp re brittle but 4 years is a little excessive , you get the point though. I'm not saying water dosent help denim last longer, it does, I'm just saying its not that big a deal. There just jeans, I'd rather enjoy them the way they are.

Gave mine a 20 min soak in warm-hot water, with slight agitation. Minimal shrinkage, maybe 1/4-1/2" in length, less that in the waist/thighs. I didn't lose much indigo at all in the tub, just a slight blue tint to the water. I'm not sure how much starch came out since:

I'm just glad I left all but the top button done up,just getting that one buttoned took some effort.
Fit is great. I was concerned about the taper, but it is so slight I don't even notice. Leg opening is perfect with boots IMO, which is a very good thing since I'm expecting my custom White's Bounty Hunters soon. I'll try and post some fit pics if I can get the wife to help, but since she was teasing me about photographing my belts last night, I can't promise she'll cooperate.;)

These are already my favorite pair ever. I'm relatively new when it comes to awesome denim, I currently own a pair of dc4001s(awesome), Roy RS03(love those too), and N&FxMomotaro Skinny Guys(fabric is really nice, but I really only bought them for the long inseam..should have done more research back then.) Once the MBBs settle, they'll be perfect.

I like to keep a coin to flip in my pocket.  For the 634SV I picked a 1921 peace dollar.  It's good to keep a flipper in your jeans.  You never know when you may need it to break a hard decision that actually doesn't matter at all…

Agreed on the coin…yours looks like a Morgan from the last year of minting. Are the wings on the eagle spread, or folded? There were Peace Dollars from '21(first issue)
Here's a few of my favorite coins....Walking Liberty Half, Peace Dollar(note the difference in the "crown or tiara"), and my Order of the Black Shamrock challenge coin:

Thanks….these are simply the best fitting jeans, ever. As to the hem question....no hem, those are the longest length they had in a 32! (Paula promised to send me whichever pair measured longest, which I greatly appreciated) I'm tall and have freakishly long legs....if I undo the single cuff, I can kind of get stacks going..kind of 😉

Yup..my CQC-5 fits the knife pocket on the MBBs perfectly! My old school custom CQC-8 will see a lot of pocket time in these jeans too, and I'll be wearing them to the Blade show in Atlanta next month.
