Can't remember the last time I had to scrap ice off my car. It is not something I enjoy.
-
Scraping ice it the worst thing ever. I bought a MINI so that I could finally park in the garage with the motorcycle on the same side just to avoid scraping windows. Of course, leaving the bike outside would be sacrilege.

Since I live in Houston, I normally don't have to worry about it. You only find ice in drinks around there. However, I'm spending 18 hours in Amarillo, and it's been freezing with a mix of rain and snow flurries the entire time I've been here. Naturally, the rental car didn't have an ice scraper, so I sat in the car with the defroster blasting for 15 minutes to clear the windshield.

Happy Birthday to my 1984 Toyota HJ47 Land Cruiser, made in Japan this month 29 years ago.
It's an RHD Australian spec "Troopy" model and the last year of the FJ40 style body type. It's been stored since early December as salted roads and old non-galvanized steel do not mix. I will go get her next weekend, but here is a picture when I picked her in Santa Fe, New Mexico back in August (I'm on the left, as is my Land Cruiser). I'm 6'1", so it definitely has some road presence with the 33" tires and 2.5" lift!

Joule, you have no idea what I'd do for that cruiser. If you ever, ever decide to get rid of it, please let me know.
