IHSH-08 16oz Super Black Western Shirt

Sorry for teasing any1 here who is waiting for this piece of greatness but I just do have to tell you something !
Today 3.5kg of pure awesomeness arrived.
At first: Second delivery from IH and again, it only took two days from Giles (UK) to me (Germany). How great is that? Well, it is great.
But it´s just nothing compared to what this shirt feels like and to what Giles made possible for me !
In the beginning I was hesitating which size to get. I decided to go with the XXL. Lucky guy I was was and have always been "fifediesel" took the last XXL, 1 hour before. (THANK YOU !!!)
Well - I checked some measurements again and asked Giles if he has one in XXXL (haha, XXXL - never worn something like that, but hey, who cares, I said to myself.)
Some hours later Giles told me that also XXXL was out of stock. I was a bit upset but nothing to worry about.
I guess it was 2 days later, Giles mailed me, that he has found an XXXL in the USA. (EEEEEK - what the heck? He really searched for this shirt - only for me ! Even though i havn´t asked about that. Seriously, how great is that ?)
I was a bit overwhelmed and of course said, that I´d really like to have that shirt.
Guess what happend now? Giles had that shirt send to him (UK) - I guess he must have even payed shipping and any taxes (because I didn´t !) and then merged with the rest of the shipment (he even asked (!) if I do want to wait until the super black arrives to get shipment merged or if I do want to have my other stuff shipped before the black western arrives because it could take a while (vulcano..). Of course I said that I´d love to wait until everything can be send in 1 box. Better for Mrs. Earth and for Giles Wallet. And seriously - that was 1 week of wait - nothing compared to all that fun I´am gonna have ^^
So, today all this great stuff arrived and I´am more than pleased. The XXXL (3*X) is just great !
I´am 188cm /90kg. Not that huge (fifediesel is way taler) but it seems that I´am just made for this shirt ^^.
The other - the ISH-22 in XXL is awesome as well.
Can not say how happy I am !
All I can say that this shirt is worth the wait !

Simon Q. I agree with you on the level of customer service that Mr. G$$$ exhibits. I have a similar story that gets really complicated, so I won't bother to bore anyone with the details of.
Let's just say I co-sign completly.

In danger of this turning into a baby oil bespattered session, I would like to third this, for a similarly convoluted but massively satisfactory piece of customer service.

I've been waiting a long time for this one.
My thoughts: I'm happy the material is not excessively stiff. It is softer than I expected and much softer than my Superblack Rider jacket (which sometimes chafes my wrists). Is the material used in this version of the IHSH-08 softer than that used in the previous release, similar to how the current Superblack jeans are softer than the previous model?
The snaps are larger than any other IH shirt but yet are easier to pop open. There is also a snap instead of a top button. I've always though of the top button as the Achilles' heel of Ironheat and would like to see top snaps on other shirts as well.
I really like the cut, especially the slim shoulders. I find it similar to older models of IH shirts, such as the IHSH-07, and much prefer it to the cut of the most recent shirts, such as IHSH-22 and IHSH-23. The cuffs on this shirt are significantly larger than other shirts, even heavy ones such as the IHSH-20. I have skinny wrists and therefore prefer a small cuff, but this is just a minor detail which I'm not too concerned about. I got a size Medium, as I do in all IH shirts.
This shirt has already taken its place among my favorites. It's unique, heavy yet supple, and has a great cut. I can't ask for more than that.

G, did this one come with a snap because pf the weight? I also prefer the snaps all the way to the top but then again, I don't have a beard. Any possibility of getting the option to have snaps instead of buttons? Also, how easy would it be to apply a few on my own? If it was possible could I request some snaps? If not I understand and can deal with whatever Haraki decides upon.
