Start of breaking in my 25 oz MBB contest pants 2013-2015 day 3
with IH black 21 oz denim jacket and Lee 101-j denim jacket underneath
Rest craps

Switching from my old SG 23 oz and my old Nudie Regular Ralf pants (which I have to downgrade as my new work pants I think from now on

First I thought today, that I'm already abusing my new pants and I almost decided to bteak my new 25 ozers in to go for a jog with them instead of my running gear.
But I turned down this idea. They are stil too pristine to me

It will takes me ages for both the jacket and the pants to break them in the hard core dry way and burn them down completely.

It was not easy for me to start breaking them in because I broke 2 of my personal rules:

First: I usually never switch to a next new pair, before the old one is not burned down completely. And my SG 23 oz is still almost new for me. But no worries, I'll go back to them in 4-5 years from now, when the new 25 ozers will probably have received some fadings, wear marks and patina so far until then.

Second: I usually never break in a new pants before I have rescued another same pair in new untouched condition for the Jeansmuseum to have them as a comparision sample for the heavy used ones coming in hopefully in many years ahead from now.

Since I don't have a second pair I'm in a big Dilemma now. I have no idea how to solve this problem atm

Perhaps I  should really plan a little HWDC raw denim happening in Zurich soon

rules are there to get broken mate, so don´t worry too much about it also it´s a really special circumstance that made you brake your own golden rules, so it´s quiet understandable…even for the unknown!

and about the second rule, i wouldn´t worry too much...Giles has 50 new pairs incoming, i bet he´s going to sell one to you
