HWDC Event 1 - Gosport Chain Stitch Massacre
-
^where do you live? It's cool you flew in for that..
In Zurich Switzerland. It was a 1 hour 20 min. flight to London and then a nice train ride down to Gosport, which I really like
I can proove it. She was there and we really had fun:
And Rafa:
What's wrong with my beach slippers?
Those are my winter sandals even resisting the hard Swiss winter!!! hahahathanks for sharing the pics mate and i was just kidding with the "beach slippers"…nothing wrong with them mate.
iirc those are the same ones you wore to the VMC party back then...you without those slippers is the same with swiss without making chocolate, those are you signatureI was kidding about my sandals as well. I know that all fashion people would kill me for that but yeah, it's a part of me to walk around the comfy way

That pic of B and Ruedi is frikkin great !!!!
-
I'd bet you could prepare for a Goruck Challenge carrying around 25oz like that
-
Should be 100+ by the end of the day?
-
Damn you guys are amazing. I just received a notification informing me that a shipping label has been created - you guys are machines! 100+ pairs of 25oz denim armor hemmed and chainstitched over the course of just a short, bloody fingered, bleary-eyed and hung over weekend, and you're still on schedule. Super impressive. I don't think I need to mention that I'm pretty stoked….

Giles and Paula are the best…period! words can't describe how much respect and love I feel for them!
there's no mission impossible and even in the roughest and toughest hours, they find time for everything else!thanks a ton to the both of you! on thursday, there will be at least 107 happy guys all around the world and that's just cuz of you and the japan crew...great feeling!
-
Yeah
Thanks to their great and intense effort!!!
And to all HWDC contest people I just say: Day one of the contest has gone, so look forward for your fading work the next 729 days.
I'm really so impressed and almost can't think ahead about all those many freshly ongoing denim evolution projects for the next 2 years or even beyond. Just imagine the millions of stories those pants will reflect after their retirenment
So it's time to switch from Happy Easter to Happy Fading!!!
Have fun
