got my coat and really am happy with it.

            smells so damn good, ha.

i like it better than the fqhh (which was lighter than normal) cafe racer i bought from aero that i had to send back that didnt fit.

been wearing it a ton to break it in, well see how long that takes.

            ha.

fits well with the SuperBlack Vest over it, so that's a +.

Nice, Jesse.  Congrats, man.  I have been looking at their stuff, too, recently.  The value seems hard to beat.  Whenever you get a chance, and no rush, do you mind posting some pics?

Really glad to read that you are happy with the purchase.

Cross post from the Chain Stitch Massacre thread.

It's a Detroit in size 48. It's a lot trimmer than the Aero jackets I've seen, and in a lighter and softer hide.

I'm normally a XXXL, but it really depends on the shirt. The IHSH-77 was too big, but the Ventile Harrington was on the short side.

If you check out my posts in the Triple Works shirting section, both are XXXL.

I'm a 46" to 48" in most jackets. I'd say that Alexander are on the smaller side. I'd also need a couple of inches adding, but I'm about 6'3" / 190 cm so that tends to be an issue.

Hey Nate, I have the same issue, re torso length. I've ordered something custom sized through Amanda for a really good price, which I hope will arrive soon.

I recommend emailing them again to see what the options are. They are trying to use up the 'old' labels, so if you are willing to have a jacket made with the 'old' logo they are doing them considerably cheaper.

Also doesn't hurt to mention you're from the IH community; I think they have a soft spot for us!

So, I was hoping so some sizing advice please…

Bought the sample 40 in goat, but feel the sizing is a bit off. I have read the arms with rise with wear on leather jackets (does this also happen on super tough goat?), but the length is bugging me. I swapped this for a 38 as it was slightly too tight on the shoulders, expecting the 40 to be a fair bit longer. It is a bit longer in the arms, but not really on the body. So what you think ? Send back? I can't be bothered keeping a jacket that looks silly zipped up. I'm inbetween IH M & L for those interested in getting one, but usually an M and 5' 10''. Many thanks all!

IMO.  It's off.  You need more length in the body and I would get rid of some of that bulk in the upper back…..

with G. the body lenght might be personal, but a bit more would not hurt and there is def too much material in the upper back imo, also think the arms could be a tad slimmer

Usually a jacket looks best when it overlaps the belt area, and I don't think that bulkiness in the back will disappear with frequent wear, I would exchange it…
