HWDC Event 1 - Gosport Chain Stitch Massacre

I have a funny feeling when this is all said and done there will be no rush to produce the MBB anytime soon. I imagine a few (giles, paula, mega,h) are being plagued with nightmares about this denim at the moment…we appreciate all the efforts nonetheless
-
If I could airmail a large bottle of your favourite drink, I would. Thanks to everyone for all their effort.
-
I can only imagine the swearing that has ensued in the the last few days.
The ultimate rebel denim from creator, to carrier, to customer… They can't be tamed.

Does anyone else have that bleeping/ticking clock noise from 24 in their heads as they read this thread?
Ok, just me then!
-
I do now !!!!
Trons en route, and ready for a jail break at Stanstead.
-
Trons near Oxford, 1.5 hours out.
Listening to "Jail Break" by Thin Lizzy, seems appropriate under the circumstance.
-
True, she's like Mr T in the A Team.

G told me that you can't speed in the UK on highways because they have automated speed traps (motion sensors and cameras). They figure out how fast you were going between detectors, if you were speeding, you get sent a ticket. That's some bullshit right there.
Enjoy the CSM everyone!!!!

Not strictly true. You can speed, you just need to know where feckin cameras are…
When we moved here, I did not know where they all were and got caught doing 35 in a 30 zone. I was sent an invitation to pay GBP100 to go on a "learn to drive better course" or face a fine and get 3 points added to my license. Once to get to 12, it's an automatic ban.... I elected to go on the course.
The first question they asked each of us criminals was what our driving experience was and where was our favourite place to drive. I answered Andros in The Bahamas because even if you do get caught by the one policeman who is sober, you only have to give him enough for his next beer and you get let off. Didn't go down very well....

20 minutes and Captain Tron will be reporting for duty, hoping to join General G in an extraction operation of the Mega Beatle Bastards with extreme prejudice

You'd love driving in Texas. I swear, speed limits are more or less optional and penalties for infractions are virtually inconsequential. On the other hand, we have one of the highest rates of drunk driving in the country, as well as one of the highest rates of uninsured/unlicensed driving. That's a bad combo.
