Nice! But size should be trplexl, no. My 42 was declared as a xl.
But damn. It's too effin cold outside. Can wear mine with a fleece jacket, but there isn't much space between these two layers…

          why so serious?

7tacos, love that Evo. I can't wait to see that jacket this time next year. Beat it up, son!

daynym, yes..XXXL this one is.  I'm so used to thinking of it as a XXL as the OD process shrinks it so much.
JSJ, this jacket will get year 'round use.  It's plenty big on me to wear with a flannel or just over a tee.
It's my favorite type III-not too big, not too small.

              RIP, Geo

Gave mine a wash today after a year or so of wear.  Snagged some prewash pics.

                Front…

                Back…

                Collar…

                The patch…

                some combs…

                a bit of elbow fade…

                front pocket…

                od W…

love what the od does to the buttons…

                waist detail…

                the cuff…

                and another cuff shot…

I'm thinking about getting the last large 526od. Just wanted to know how it fades over time.. Does the indigo come through or does it fade to grey? Thanks.

Tat, one thing to note is the first generation of the OD type IIIs have shorter arms, so if you get an XL used, double check with the seller to see when it's made and get a measurement.  Both my OD type IIIs are first gen and the XL has a 25 inch arm, the XXL has about 27'.

The later OD type IIIs one's all have longer arms in the larger sizes.
