Going to spend tomorrow at work drawing up my shopping list for Midtown
Recommend me some new DC titles people

Mega - Not sure about DC, but I've been reading mostly Image stuff recently (apart from 'Batman - Death by Design', which is beautifully drawn btw). 'Manhattan Projects' is good, there's a TPB of the first 5 issues just out.

So:
I started (post Beano etc) around 8 yrs old with comics from my Grandparents paper shop. Every time we went up to Scotland to visit there'd be a great pile of stuff for me to trawl through; 2000AD, Victor, Battle and Look & Learn with its amazing exploded diagrams of warships/engines/power stations and the like.Summer of '83 I stayed ata mates for a week and read his elder brother's entire 2000AD chronicles collection- at that time about 14 books of collected stuff, The Dark Judges, Cursed Earth, Judge Child Quest etc. couldn't get enough of it especially the Brian Bolland stuff.
Couple of years later picked up Batman 900 - (awesome Bill Sienkiewicz cover) and went on from there I think this was just before Dark Knight.
Then Freak Bros…...(hand-in-hand with all the Hawkwind
)
I bought the Watchmen deluxe HC with my first proper wage packet....
So was mainly into DC stuff, but again due to Sienkiewicz/Miller got 'Elektra Assassin'.
some faves:
Geof Darrow
Pete Bagge
Chris Ware
Bill Sienkiewicz
Alan Moore - read 'From Hell' for one, if you haven't already
Frank Miller (before he went nuts)
Shaky Kane
Rafael Grampa
Charles Burns
Brian Bolland
Dean Motter - (Mister -

DC has a streaming service coming, I know I'm late but I'm old and don't keep up with technology and things like that.
I'm super curious and excited about Titans and Doom Patrol

Literally just started reading Spawn. Really bloody enjoying it thus far. On about issue 9.

Anybody have an idea where I can get a copy of the 'Pepper and Carrot' web comic as a printed book in English, for my daughter?

Brought up in the Skating thread.
It's a vintage Skateboarding Magazine comic.
Mellow Cat by Ted Richards-1978.
I have this mag for decades, but I haven't come to the end of this comic till nowadays.
Makes me smile, after all those years I haven't understood even the first picture…..
