I feel like such a n00b asking this question, but what is the MAXIMUM temperature I should wash these jeans at?.. I think me machine goes up to 90 but that seems a bit excessive (bearing in mind that I don't wanna turn the patch into toast!)...

I normally wash at 40 for my raw which basically almost identical to 18oz raw, but sometimes i did 60 with my IH overall without damage the patch. Spin at max 700rpm, been there, done that, no problem encounter. But be careful when the fabric new and stiff. Perhaps, hand wash in the beginning to stay safe.

Maybe soak 'm before putting them in the machine?.. Then a machinewash at a delicate setting (low rpm, 40 C°), then all out 60 C°, 800 rpm mayhem?..

I'd wash them twice 60°. ans as I don't give a fuck, I spin mine full speed, 1200rpms. That should tame those buggers.

Of course let them dry between washes.

Pre-soak fit for all you maniacs… Looks slimmer than it is due to the angle... Waist is loose, thighs are more or less ok, down the knee could do with a bit more taper... So yeah: I'm sure these'll be perfect post soak...

I think it will be about the same as my XHS'es post soak, maybe a tad tighter in the waist (hopefully)… Denim is incredible... But more intel after I've actually worn them... In the meantime:
