Gotta be a way to use the low grade denim and cut the losses.  I know Haraki is a perfectionist, but small items like coasters, mouse pads, small tote bags etc. could probably be made without including too many flawed portions.  Just a thought…

maybe this stuff is tongue in cheek but the truth (in my opinion, for what thats worth) is the brand is what it is because they don't make denim mouse pads and denim phone sleeves and denim book covers just because they can

You've got a point there.  On the other hand, this thread has close to 200 pages and far less than 200 good ideas.  I trust Haraki-san to pick the good ones (if any) and ignore the rest, so it hurts nothing to toss them all out there and see if any stick.
