The NBA All-Star Weekend is in Houston this year.  That means lots of celebrities and the attendant craziness that goes with them.  And since ballers of all types love cars, that means fun weird stories.  For instance, Jay-Z had his Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse (a birthday present from his wife Beyonce) flown in on a private jet so he could drive it while he's in town.:o

^All-Star weekend is crazy. I once drove to Phoenix (to partake in the partying), despite the fact that I didn't have a ticket to the game – only someone in their early to mid-twenties could justify that trip.

I just finished splitting wood for the fire, Lori's got some chicken chili on the stove, new neighbor just gave me an ENTIRE deer for the freezer, we're watching a walking dead marathon, and life just doesn't get much sweeter. Happy. Happy. Happy.

and Jeff, you and your wife are in my thoughts.  Coming from a family with ample heart problems (one of my grandfathers had an octuple bypass by the time he passed),  I know what it's like.  Modern medicine is amazing, and while recovery from heart issues is definitely and uphill struggle and a tough battle, recovery will come.  I wish you two all the best, and sincerely hope everything goes as best as it can.

Thanks, Clint. It's a repro that I drunkenly stole from a hotel in College. I love that BestMade Axe. It's overpriced, but beautiful, and hungry for logs. You're in Austin? I'm going to be there Tuesday and Wednesday for a Toyota meeting.
