Tough one man, in my role I do the whole disciplinary investigation and procedure, but our HR officers pull the trigger, not a good experience.

I could have had HR do it, but since I was the one who made the decision I figured I should do it. This is why you don't make friends with your direct reports. Especially when they have kids.

My family's business was Snooker and Billiard table manufacture. My grandfather was much more interested in Huntin, Shootin and Fishin, so he flogged the company in the late 70's (much to the annoyance of my father and me)…...Just scored these on eBay of about USD35. Result....

My wife bought am air freshener for her car that is supposed to smell like strawberries. It actually smells like Red Bull. Now, every time I get in her car, I want a Red Bull. I think it's some evil genius marketing scheme.

Personally, I prefer Full Throttle, then Nos, then Red Bull if I can't get the other two. Never seen Burn. Not sure if it's available in the US.
