Ah, k,k. I'd say the fit is alright, but I'm not really sure if I'd benefit from a size down as I've not been able to try a half size down yet. I'm leaning towards yes–downsize-- myself.

No, I do not think they are too big.  And since you say they're comfortable, I think going down any is asking for trouble.  Your toes aren't supposed to be touching the tip of the boot, especially with a last shape like that.

Sizing is an arbitrary number, so don't pay much attention to it.  Concentrate on how they feel.

On the Viberg boot blog, there is a pic of the new boondockers:

These are definitely plain toe, not deconstructed toe. Is it the same makeup with a plain toe?  Please advise.
