Hi Renegade:
I'm wearing Rev Gear boots, which I bought in a shop in Woodstock Illinois many years ago and did not wear for a long time. I've started wearing them again a few months ago. In any case, they are very light compared to other boots I've worn in the past, and quite comfortable. I searched for Rev Gear on the web and did not find a web site, are they still alive?
On the jacket, I removed the beige leather whatchamacallit on the zippers, because they don't match (or complement) the blackness of the jacket. Why on earth use this color and not black? Speaking of which IH could release a limited edition of this jacket with black buttons and black zippers, that would be superblackblack.
Yes the pants are the 9634. Great feel. So freaking stiff! Speaking of which I would love to have a pair of those pants with black buttons, too, and maybe a red pocket lining just like the jacket, that would be a nice match with the jacket. My wife is away with my daughter for a few days, so I was able to have the pants on the bed at night, just like Christmas when I was a kid. Cant believe I did that!!! I had a business meeting today (in addition to being a Reggae producer, I'm CFO for a chemical company) and did not wear my suit because I wanted to wear the jacket so bad. That was nuts, but hey, you only live once and today was casual Friday after all.
My sister in law hand-makes leather goods with (or without indian beads she also weaves herself). She lives in New Mexico in the mountains and has tons of Indian friends who taught her the beading thing. Anyway, I just asked her to make me a badass belt with black and white beads with a dash of red on the bead motif (but not too much), the motif will be a copy of my samoan tattoo or something of that nature. Shit, I can't wait (she can be slow, but hey, I love her, she's my wife's sister after all!!!).
