              Not all at - it's just something that bothers me from time to time. Perhaps the word 'hate' was a bit strong on my part.

                Much of the forum slang and vernacular spilled over into the world of blogging and tumblr. Fischer says wEstsIdE helped popularize terms such as “cop,” meaning impulsively buying, and “jawns,” which usually referred to clothing.

                “My very basic understanding of the word ‘jawn’ is that it’s from Philly. It just means thing, any random thing,” says Lo.

                  That remark about Philly is funny because previous to hearing it used in regards to denim, I had heard it all the time in 6-7th grade (about 15 years ago).  It was really popular then, but mostly faded away after that.  I never really liked the word personally.
