These are unreal what is this makeup?
the key bits are:
- All natural cxl
- 6" height
- 1/4" lowered cuban heel
- natural sides
- brass eyes and hooks
- no celastic
- standard trim
- 430 sole
-
also i´ve found a nice comparison between the different heel
shapesheights (sth. i wasn´t aware of tbh.)!Double Midsole + 1/4 Inch Lower Heel (Left) vs Double Midsole + Standard Heel Hight (Right)
Double Midsole + 1/4 Inch Lower Heel (Left) vs Single Midsole + Standard Heel Hight (Right)

Lowered heel throws off the balance of the boot, IMO. Especially with the double midsole. I wonder how it affects the feel.
-
I was thinking the same. I know that lasts are built with a certain alignment; move it too much up or down and it throws off the weight distribution and balance. I don't know how much leeway there is, though, and I doubt White's would allow anyone to alter it if it weren't within acceptable parameters. Nonetheless, the standard height looks better to me.

Some basic Whites boots info here.

The lowered heel looks off to me but hey… To each their own

8" I believe

Could be the case. But I heard the arch on White's boots is high, lowering the heel (1/4 inch) may help those with flatter foot/feet.

@Omega:
#8 burgundy cxl, lace to toe, etc.!
What is the height of these boots? 6 or 8 inches?
Maybe I'm wrong…
Pretty sure the above boots are 6"
Believe these are 8"
Believe these are 10"
-
Shane's right they are 6" just looked earlier in the thread they are shown next to sd's and they are 5"

Can someone direct me to the correct link for the White's Bounty Hunter boot builder through Baker's site? I don't think I'm finding the right one. I exchanged emails with a rep at Viberg today, and it doesn't appear they can make a boot large enough for me. On to plan B: trying to find a White's boot in a large enough size. I should try and contact Kyle, right?

what size shoes do you wear?
