On a related note, I wish Baker's gave some descriptions of the various leathers. There are like six versions of black and brown leathers with no explanation of how they differ. It's about time for Build-a-boot 2.0.
seriously. There is no excuse that there is not a hi-res glamour shot of each leather swatch available to look at, compare etc.. I mean, resources are a limiting factor, but I think it could be done

I just PMed Mega. If he can get Kyle or Whites to send me a swatch book I will take images of each leather to post here in the contest thread. Could be a huge help to everyone.

Mine were $400 shipped. I used a promo code to get like $10 off plus free shipping. There are calculation errors between the baker site and the buildaboot site so it's better to place an order and then deal with Kyle. He'll give you the proper price and refund/ask for more money, etc, if need be.
Decent price, but I wonder how much does it cost to ship outside of the U.S. These are heavy boots…...shipping more expensive?

More noob questions. If I am 8.5 in Alden (barrie last), Red Wings and Wesco and my "normal" U.S. size is 9, what size should I take in Whites BH (semi dress last)? 8.5?

Swatch book shots would really help! I want in. Going to be my first pair of made-to-order boots. Sizing is stressing me out already. Is it possible to send in a foot tracing for this build ?

Got a bounty Hunter with 3 types of leather, water buffalo, bull hide and black chromexcel. All in black. Plain toe and toe cap. I'll definitely post a photo here once i can get some good shots of it

btw. these could look dope (not that they aren't doing it already) after a proper resole too...Rafa, those Viberg Scouts look like old man boots. For some reason, the smooth leather looks cheap to me, but it may just be the pics.
I'm really curious on how these look IRL myself! need to go through google the next couple of days and check'em out…
