Thanks to some Permex snaps that G hooked me up with… I made it so I can button my cuff more tightly when I'm wearing just a T-Shirt under my IHD-01.

Thanks. Well, it shrank a bit, not dramatically. But I am really happy with the fit now, as its my everyday leisure jacket/shirt so it doesn't hurt being comfy and leave room for layering. Might take some pics later…

Such cool shirts.  There's been a number of times I've had my finger on the trigger for one of these but my type III addiction keeps interceding.

They are def for long arms and tall guys. Fits Pillow perfect.

Looks like a dress on me.

Also, this would be my favorite IH shirt hands down, if it fit me. Everything about it is pretty amazing.

One thing I still don't understand though is why there are shirt tails on some of the shirts with pockets. It's not like you're suppose to tuck them in. Is there another reason for shirt tails?

Being a tall, long-armed guy I absolutely concur. Simply brilliant piece and probably my favourite IH gear so far.

yes on the selvedge.  Its the same denim as the IHD-01od & TWHR01:

Edit:  But it says this on the IHD-01 product page.

u mean it might shrink about 1 inch after soak?
So, according to the size table, XL's length will pretty long(31.5 - 31) even after soak.
some shirts i used to wear are about 29inch long only.

I only posted regarding the "selvedge" question^^, but this is indeed one of the longer IH shirts, mainly because of the pockets, but also because of the shirt-tail.

I've been searching for other members' post soak measurements and haven't found anything yet, but if you look at the IHD-01od (which I assume started out the same size as an IHD-01), then the XL length is 31.5" after a hot wash.  So yes, you could expect an inch or so of shrinkage after soak.

If you're short, that length might be an issue.  But pillowPants is a tall man and his looks just fine.  I am 5' 7", and this shirt is long on me, but it is so comfortable and useful that I just don't care about the length.

I haven't been through the thread in its entirety, but am I right to assume it would be wise to size down one in the od version compared to the raw?

                                  IMO yes!
haven't handled the raw version of it but I had the od version in XL (my bigger IH size!), sold it cuz it just was too big, which means I'm a large in the od version. would go for a XL in the raw version though (if that makes any sense!)…

My OD is the same size as my other IH shirts, so I'm going to give a differing opinion.    If you want to layer I say stick with your normal size.  If you don't want to layer then i think you could safely size down.

For someone who typically takes a large, would they be able to manage a medium raw post soak? (Given a presumed degree of stretch.)
