It's black shell cordovan, a type of leather made from the rump of a horse. It's also a color which was very confusing to me…your wallet looks good mate. imho the black actually looks good but my favourite is still the light brown one which is no longer in stock.

Replaced the leash on my Manifold with the big black nasty IH one.
BTW, if anyone needs a super nice high tech key light, check out Peak lights. I've got a few and they work great. I think the set up will work well for many years.
