looks like my external hard drive is fekked…with ALL of my stuff (pics, music, movies, vids, etc.) on it!

anyone ever had problems with the computer not "finding" your external though it is plugged in and running?...
IIRC it dropped on the floor the other day and now, it somehow doesn´t work anymore!

is there any chance i can get it running again?...

I have same one… Well, a couple of those... If it's still running, I wouldn't be too worried... Try plugging it in another computer, perhaps?..

Trusting all your backup to a single external drive is a recipe for disaster, mate. Personally, I would supplement it with an off-site service. I use both of these and think they're both excellent:
