Unexpected occurrence for today:
Came home from a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese to find a box on the front doorstep.  Apparently, my Viberg boots are finished…

Yeah, with a big customs form attached to the front of the box, so everyone would know that I got "leather shoes, made in Canada."  Oh, and a big Viberg Boots sticker right below that and another sticker with the size and specs on the side.  Good thing I live in a reasonably low crime neighborhood.

Since I didn't know they were coming, I never would have known if they had been stolen…

My in-laws mean well, but holy shit, everything with them is one giant cluster fuck.

On the plus side, Southwest ruined one of our suitcases, so they gave us a surprisingly decent replacement duffel bag and a $100 travel voucher.
