Yeah darkstar was right though, I came off as a massive DB in my comment about his fit. Not trying to troll on this forum so I just decided to take the post down. I've dressed "loud" in the past and gotten similar comments online so I know what that's like lol.

Just to know, is 25oz denim silicone coated as 21oz? THey are both sanforized, but I suspect that are treated in different way…

the silicone coating reduce the process of bleeding. i did read that somewhere on the forum.
and the 25oz denim is bleeding a lot. for sure in different way.

The 21oz is not actually silicone coated, but silicone is used in the final process - H actually explained the process to me this week, but it is our secret I am afraid.  25oz no silicone used….

G: is my memory failing me or did you post something about how the 25 oz jeans aren't onewashed and a bit of shrinkage is to be expected after a wash?..

I've washed mine twice in the machine so far. Maybe they shrank a little but after some wear they definitely stretched back… But it was either my imagination or it took them quite a bit longer to stretch back than normal...

Sanforised but unwashed, so expect a little shrinkage after the first wash, but like all denim, will stretch in the waist: expect about an inch stretch in the waist with lots of wear.

but simple curiosity G, what is the reason to use silicon in the final process with the 21oz?

My 666xhs fit perfect before wash, after flipped inside out and rinsed in a washing machine they were too tight for me to even put on. I went tts with the size too, definetly had some shrinkage, or I just packed on some pounds and want to believe they shrank.
