      @madmonday:

      alot of items that are now considered moto wear are just because moto riders resourced clothing from other places

      A really interesting point. This makes a lot of sense. Thanks Monday!

        N1's are a good example of exactly that.

          Somewhere here in the forum is pics of my Vanson and Legendary Jackets…I suppose there might even be my Finnish Racing jacket, sort of Cafe Racer.

          Both first mentioned are CHP (california highway patrol) jackets. The latter is a true racing jacket made in the days when men were Iron and boats wood 😉

          A real moto jacket is something that is really menat for riding, like Rockets Vanson...It's not about the style so much, but about the practicality of it when on a bike.

          Classic lines are my choices. But not the brando jackets, too manu pocket, and I hate epaulets on leather. But it's just me. If you want to I can PM you some pics...?

              Yup, they're pretty much true to function, bi-swing back, longer sleeves…

              I myself wouldn't ride without leather jacket, which is odd, I usually wear just jeans...not leather pants

                Hey guys, stupid request but can you guys recommend me some hangers to hang my jeans while drying after soaking that doesn't have any teeth or anything that digs into the denim? Preferably available online?

                        I use hangars with horrible metal teeth that grip the waste band.  I've never had a problem.  Those hook hangars are bound to stretch out your belt loops hardcore if you're hanging wet pants on them like that?

                            I believe there was a Samurai competition over on SuFu, where the jeans had one leg of LHT and one of RHT, James of Obbigood was in it. I think there was some concern about different rates of fade, but it didn't happen that way. The jeans that James wears in the HWDC are the ones I'm thinking of.

                                          Good point. Some say that this results in jeans fading fasting in the Southern Hemisphere than the Northern.
