slightly OT - I started a thread in the General Chat section to drum up interest for IH to produce BROWN Wabash for use in vests, pants and shirts, etc

nobody does it, but it could be great looking and a coup for IH to be one of the first

Should any special care be taken when washing the wabash?

Inside out and buttoned up. That's all. I dry my shit too. The fabric becomes amazingly soft.

I wouldn't spin it either. Look at the washing instructions for the 08 and other heavy shirts and follow them.

I washed my 55 with a spin on a wool wash and it was fine. I wouldn't necessarily put it on a harder cycle though.

I've found no special treatment to be required, I just wash at 40C, cotton cycle, no problem at all!
