keep coming back to pp's fit pics in this thread… to my mind at least this is exactly how a flannel should fit.  great stuff.

UPS showed up with a large red 72 just 5 minutes before I had to leave for work so no fit pics but…
First impression, this shirt is amazing! Never had a 20 no any ultra heavy so no basis for comparison however, fabric rules. Buffalo check rules. Fit is spot on. Immediately jumps to favorite or maybe 2nd favorite IH shirt. So stoked I got this! Now I will try and proxy a green....

I focused on the chest measurement, as I always do, got a very rude shock this morning. Whilst the chest is equal to a Flathead Sz40, that's about it. The shoulder is about 2" smaller, as is the sleeve. Major curveball and will teach me to read ALL measurements.

Extra small vs sz 40 flathead

May be selling this upon my return 😕

On the other hand.. my FH winter flannel has 23" arms while my IH shirts are usually 24.5 to 25 (FH 40 and IH Medium).  It makes up part of the difference as long as your shoulders don't stick out too far.

Thanks, good to know this, and worth calling out for others here who may hit this as well. Ended up with a happy ending, my Mrs absolutely loves it (and it fits her quite nicely).

I dare say not. I imagine it was even called out in this thread, but I was a little excited 🙂
