Any one have experience with audio books during long, at times stressful, commutes?
I used to listen to philosophy lectures/podcasts whilst doing peak-hour driving for about 18 months. Never had an accident, but got close more than a few times. Dissociative concepts mostly tho.

Anybody have any suggestions for plain long sleeve T shirts? Nothing fancy, just ones that hold up well and are moderately priced. Non sweat shop production obviously preferred. Thanks.
-
You could try American Apparel though I find every single one of their shirts fits differently so you can't just try one and grab another 3 off the rack. Plus you'd be supporting a sexual predator.
Wings + Horns also does great shirts, though not cheap.

No AA for me, and I'm not necessarily looking for cheap, more interested in solid value.

I don't have experience with their long sleaves, but Goodwear's (http://www.goodwear.com/) short sleeve stuff is great quality. The heavy shirts are comparable in weight to IH tee's…

Backing Doug, solid basics all round from Uniqlo.
-
Yup. You'll probably be skirting the line of that "no sweatshops" provision, but their stuff hits on the other points.

Goodwear are super solid and not too expensive. Sizing is a bit all over the place. I can't remember what size I got, but it was L or XL. After a wash the fit was good.
Here's a long sleeve form them.
http://www.goodwear.com/long-sleeve-authentic-grey-mock-twist/Uniqlo are great for sweatshop type basics. Half my long and short sleeve t-shirts are from there. Also, most of my socks.
