1st boot is the one i posted above , 2nd is the one with a 1010 sole and the last is the narrows

im not sure my friends has got the regular boss last but theyre no way near the shape of this pretty weird

Mystery toe…I assume it's not steel-toe?  Maybe it's some sort of firestormer/logger last or Motor Patrol..? just guessing here.

Lovely pair IJ, well worth the wait, the wooden midsole/heel look absolutely gorgeous.

These arrived yesterday (well each boot came separately a day apart, and even then it involved chasing the post van up the road in my car. I think the postie thought she was being robbed at first!):
from ebay, not sure of the specs, probably standard boss with narrow toe? please correct me if that 's wrong. size 10, I think.

yup, I think that's std boss toe. Probably all std bosses. Nevertheless very nice. Suggestion; when they need resoleing, get rid of the "tractor" sole.

jack these has a non reinforced toebox but as you can see it stays its shape because of the leather.

Speaking of re-soling, I actually don't mind the Vibram 100 sole, but when they need doing I'd certainly entertain other options.

Where would one get a nice wood midsole and all that done? Wesco? For a basic resole I'd send them to William Lennon, but for fancy-shmancy? Any ideas chaps?

MoD, Sorry I didn't correct you earlier, though they look like wood when new, and are stiff as wood as well but they are leather, double midsole, dyed brown (tan). Basic option from Wesco.
As you're in States, I'd send my Wescos for rebuild to them...

Cheers Jack,( I'm UK). Yeah it does look like wood and I think I saw some pics of someone carving a wooden heel somewhere, or I dreamt it….. The link ed gave me looks like great stuff but its JP....anyway plenty wear left and I've vibergs coming.... Mmmmmm
