To G or anyone who owns this shirt, I'm curious as to how warm it is.  Comparable to the melton IHW-01?

I had the IHSH-49, and I have an IHW-01, and yes definitely comparable in warmth.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

Thanks Mega.  I figured that with the lining it must be pretty warm.  Giving this shirt some serious thought…

How is the fit on this one? I wear K in the IHSH-33, would be the same?

Sorry, anal Q: Could one machine wash this beautiful thing?… also, in consideration of sizing, would this require more sizing up than the (wonderful) melton 01?

Be carefull with mashine washing though as it can cause the stitching on the nylon quilt lining to unravel…

When I wash my 49(same shit) I don't turn it inside out to prevent messing up the inside stitching and blanket lining.  I think the sleeve stitching falling apart is inevitable though. Mine is loose in a lot of places, and I'm no Bushmonkey…
