excellent! good choice . black fire leather wow they will last and you can pass them on to your grandson.

they fit fine. A bit stiff, but nothing that cannot be broken in quite fast I  believe. A bit heel slop, but that's common with theis type of boots, and I think that'll lessen when broken in.

just tighten the strap when you feel a heel slop ( very standard with engineers)  and i have to disagree of breaking those in fast.

Done that, and we'll see about the breaking in, They don't feel now too stiff

forgot to mention

I had those japanese made Becks made out or Chromexel I believe. They were priced about the same as these…
Now that I have had these in my feet, I'm so glad those Becks didn't work out for me . Compared to these...they were flimsy.
