Is there an example of this denim faded? Looks like no one has worn these things long enough..
I just really don't like slubby, hairy, does the slub get worse

You could check the 666s thread - same denim. I haven't found the denim to be overly slubby or hairy, compared to other brands, just slubbier and hairier than other weights of IH denim.

The thigh on the 33 looks perfect but if it shrinks I may have to go 34- but then the waist may be to big, damn unsanforized

nerkg- I have these in tag size 33.  After a hot soak, the thigh went from 12.5 to 12.  I haven't measured them in a while, so I don't know if the thigh later stretched out again.  The waist went from 34.5 to about 33.75 and is now probably back to 34.
